The 2016 Netwrix Customer Survey

The 2016 Netwrix Customer Survey was carried out from December 2015 to January 2016. It involved feedback of 376 paying customers who represent companies of various industries and sizes located worldwide.

The survey found that Netwrix customers managed to achieve the following results:

  • IT auditing helped to strengthen security. According to 84% of the respondents, IT auditing helped maintain security policies. It provides visibility needed to detect malicious activities and insider misuse, investigate incidents, and promptly respond to violations. More than a third of users at least once managed to prevent a security incident with the help of Netwrix Auditor.
  • IT auditing streamlined compliance audits. Based on the customer feedbacks, 75% of organizations pass compliance audits faster thanks to Netwrix Auditor. It allows customers to validate security controls and quickly react to auditors’ requests. Two thirds of Netwrix customers save up to 24 hours per audit (9% save more than 1 week) on reporting.
  • IT auditing simplified reporting. Manual report submission for internal and external auditors, as well as upon request of senior management is a time-consuming task for most companies, which in some cases requires dedicated IT teams. By automating this task, 83% of Netwrix customers achieved a significant reduction of time saving up to 6 hours per week on tedious work.
